Congratulations to the Women's Open champs Misty La Salvia and Kaili Kimura who won $300, new Wilson AVP balls, Vincere Sand Socks, and AVPnext Gold Medals. To demonstrate how they crushed their opponents in the final, they both crushed an AVP ball one-handed and were later seen smashing beer cans against their foreheads.

Women's Open 2nd place finishers Tarin Keith and Mackenzie Brook won $100, Wilson ball tubes, Vincere Sand Socks, and the highly coveted Volleyball earrings that I am sure they have yet to take off.

Abra Amwake and Rebecca Hague placed 3rd to win AVP Visors, Vincere Sand Gloves, and a stale Hot Pocket I found at the bottom of my backpack.

Women's Open 3rd placers Kristy Kuehn and Cathy Turner (ie: Darnell Turner) also won AVP Visors and Vincere Sand Socks. When the camera came out both of them seemed to have flashbacks to their modeling careers.

Women's Open 5th place finishers Holly Reid and Heidi Schaefer won AVP polo shirts. Ohhhhhh wow did I want to use the other picture!!! (Think, umm, of a plumber or full moon) But Marina wouldn't let me, says it's a family site. Somehow, I don't think we've seen the last of that pic though. :-)

Women's Open 5th placers Lianne Dela Cruz and Livia Peace also won AVP polo shirts, but split before photo time to head to Six Flags where a cartoonist did this caricature of them playing ball.
